David Foster Wallace : Before > Prior To

I could sit and listen to him talk for ten hours straight. Because you know he actually had thought about this before, and had probably put a lot of thought into it, and that hardly anything, ever, escaped his lens/scrutiny.

Of course, you can see why it would be such a terrible thing when a mind this active and brilliant turned on itself (in other words: I wouldn’t want to be depressed and stuck in there).

Still, what a great little video. :)

This man continues to amaze and delight me.
