Dorothea Lange, via Old Picture of the Day “Today we feature a picture of photographer Dorothea Lange. The picture was taken in 1936. Dorothea was one of the Resettlement Administration photographers who went across the country in the 1930’s photographing the effects of the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl. Dorothea is best remembered for her photograph of the Migrant Mother, which has become a defining icon of the Great Depression.”

I love lange’s work but I think this is the first time I have seen an image of her.
